On 4th June 2023, Pentecost, three non-Orthodox Christians – Constantine, Helen and David – were received into the Orthodox Church in Rwanda. The rite was performed by the local dean, Rev. Peter Bikamumpaka.
On the same day, Priest Paul Atangana administered the Sacrament of Baptism in Mbalmayo town, Cameroon.
In Burundi, at the Parish of St. Sergius of Radonezh, fifteen people embraced Orthodox faith, some through Baptism, others through Chrismation, on the eve of Pentecost.
The sacraments were administered by the local dean, Rev. Demetrios Ntahonshiki, in concelbration with Deacon Thomas Nisengwe.
