Divine Liturgy is celebrated for the first time in the Eastern Region of Cameroon

On Sunday 21st April 2024 the dean and priest Paul Atangana visited the parish community of All Saints in the city of Bertoua in the Eastern Region of Cameroon. Father Paul was greeted by the instructor in catechism Rodrigue Mfeg and the community faithful.

Father Paul celebrated the Divine Liturgy for the first time in the Eastern Region as no Orthodox communities had ever existed here before. The service was attended by local people who had decided to become part of the Orthodox Church.

After the Liturgy Father Paul gave instruction in the faith to those gathered.
