On the feast day of the Icon of the Mother of God “The Three-Handed One,” Metropolitan Konstantin celebrated the Liturgy at the Parish of St. Nina in Tanzania

On July 25, 2026, on the feast of the Icon of the Mother of God “The Three-Handed One,” the Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, Metropolitan Konstantin of Cairo and North Africa, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the parish of St. Nina, Equal-to-the-Apostles, in Kisarawe, Tanzania.

Concelebrating with the hierarch were Father George Maximov, chairman of the Missionary Department of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa; Archimandrite Zachariah (Mulingwa), dean of the Central Ecclesiastical District of Tanzania; and Father Constantine Shoki, rector of the parish.

Parishioners and students from the educational center affiliated with the parish participated in the service.

At the conclusion of the service, Metropolitan Konstantin addressed the congregation with words of encouragement.

His Eminence presented the parish with a cross, as well as small icons to all participants in the service.

After the service, the archpastor visited the educational center, spoke with the students, and held a meeting dedicated to the center’s development.
