On the Feast of the Holy Trinity, Metropolitan Konstantin celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the St. Sergius Parish in Cairo

On May 31, 2026, the Feast of the Holy Trinity (Pentecost), the Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, Metropolitan Konstantin of Cairo and North Africa, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Parish of St. Sergius of Radonezh in Cairo.

He was concelebrated by the Vicar of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa, Bishop Euthymius of Lukhovitsy, Dean of Parishes in Egypt, and the parish cleric, Priest Dimitry Gurov.

During the Small Entrance, Metropolitan Konstantin presented Priest Dimitri Gurov with a decree in accordance with the decision of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church dated May 14, 2026 (Journal No. 43) regarding his enrollment in the clergy of the North African Diocese of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa and his appointment as a cleric of the Parish of St. Sergius of Radonezh. For his diligent service to the Holy Church, His Eminence granted Priest Dimitry the right to wear a gold cross.

At the end of the Liturgy, Metropolitan Konstantin celebrated Great Vespers for the Feast of Pentecost with the kneeling prayers.

After the service, His Eminence delivered an archpastoral address, presented the parish with oil lamps and a set of altar linens, and gave icons to the parishioners.
