A new temporary church built for the growing Orthodox community in the Kenyan village of Michiamikuru

With the support of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa, a new temporary church dedicated to the Apostle John the Theologian has been constructed in the village of Michiamikuru (Meru Deanery), Kenya.

According to the Exarchate’s website, the previous structure could no longer accommodate the growing number of parishioners.

On December 1, the parish clergy, Priest Moses Mugambi and Priest Arsenius Kariunga, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the new church.
