On December 1, a three-day conference for Orthodox mothers concluded with the Divine Liturgy at the Parish of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker in the village of Kitiri (Central Deanery) in Kenya.
The event was dedicated to the study of the Orthodox faith. Speakers included the dean, Priest James Karanja, as well as Priests Nicholas Mwariri and Samson Gutu, according to the website of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa.
The clergy spoke with the conference participants about the liturgy, the Mystery of Confession, the role of women in the Church, and the missionary service of the laity.
