Drilling of a well has begun on the site of the future St. Nicholas Church in Tanzania to provide local people with drinking water

At the construction site of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the Kimamba village in Tanzania (Kilosa District, Morogoro Region), drilling of a well has begun to provide people with drinking water.

Last year, the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa supported the construction of a well to provide the Tanzanian residents of the Sokoine village with potable water. The representatives of the Church of Alexandria restricted access to clean water after the community joined the Russian Orthodox Church.
