A new group of African applicants from Nigeria and Ghana arrived to get admission to the Saint Petersburg Theological Academy.
Russian theological schools are planning to admit about 20 students from African countries in the new academic year.

Every week, African clergymen, led by priest Roman Chistyakov, participate in the bilingual Divine Liturgy in the Convent of Nativity of Theotokos in Moscow, where, after the service, Nun Matrona (Jepchirchir) gives candle making master class.
African clergymen also do internship at St Nicholas Church in Novaya Sloboda in Moscow at the Synodal Missionary Department under the guidance of Archpriest Igor Davydov and priest Dionisius Grishkov.
