On July 23, 2026, Metropolitan Konstantin performed the rite of minor consecration of the church dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the village of Kimamba (Kilosa District, Morogoro Region) and presided over the Divine Liturgy in the newly consecrated church. The church was built with the support of donors from the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa.
His Eminence was concelebrated by the chairman of the Missionary Department of the Exarchate, Priest George Maximov; the dean of the Central District of Tanzania, Archimandrite Filaret (Kimaro); the rector of the church, Priest Laurent Sakwa; and the clergy of the deanery.
His Eminence granted the parish rector, Priest Laurent Sakwa, the right to wear nabedrennik.
At the conclusion of the service, Metropolitan Konstantin addressed those gathered with an archpastoral message.
The Exarch presented the parish with Aër, an icon of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, and green priest vestments. All the faithful were also given small icons of St. Nicholas and neck crosses as gifts.
