On 4th June 2023, Pentecost, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Church of St. John of the Ladder in Cape Town, South Africa, by the parish priest, Rev. Nicholas Esterhuizen.
The Liturgy was followed by Great Vespers and kneeling prayers marking the Feast of Pentecost.
On the same day, Fr. Nicholas baptized a parishioner who was named George after the Holy Great Martyr George the Victory-Bearer.
