On September 24, 2023, the 16th Week after Pentecost, before the Exaltation, students of the pastoral courses of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa co-celebrated the Divine Service at the St. Andrew’s Monastery in Moscow.
On the same day, together with the Russo-Chinese cultural center Zhar-ptitsa (Firebird), they made a pilgrimage trip to the Ryazan diocese.
Archimandrite Andrey and Hieromonk Alexander conducted a tour of the Trinity Monastery.
The pilgrims also visited the Ryazan Kremlin, the Assumption Cathedral, the Ascension Cathedral, and the diocesan missionary department, where the guests were greeted by the rector of the church and the chairman of the department, Archpriest Arseny Vilkov.
At the end of the trip, the participants visited the Memorial Museum-estate of academician I. P. Pavlov (1849-1936), the first Russian Noble Prize winner (1904), the son of a priest.
