On 26th February 2023, Cheesefare Sunday, the remembrance of Adam’s expulsion from paradise (Forgiveness Sunday), Rev. Nicholas Esterhuizen celebrated the Forgiveness Vespers at the Church of St John of the Ladder in Cape Town, South Africa.
In the evening of 27th February, Monday of the first week of Lent, Priests Nicholas Esterhuizen and Jacques Smuts celebrated the Great Compline with the Great Canon of Repentance by St Andrew of Crete.
