On 13th February 2026, a delegation from the Ministry of Territorial Administration of the Republic of Cameroon visited the Parish of the Resurrection of Christ in Yaoundé, capital of Cameroon.
They were welcomed by Priest Paul Atangana, Dean of the Central Church District in Cameroon, as well as the clergy of the local deanery and parishioners. Discussed at the meeting were various matters pertaining to the activities of the parishes of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa in Cameroon.
The guests received memorable gifts. The Dean presented an icon of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker to the head of the delegation; other delegation members received small crosses.
On 23rd January 2026, a decree of the President of the Republic of Cameroon had been published, permitting the Russian Orthodox Church to carry out its activities in the country.
