37 residents of the city of Ntui in Cameroon became members of the Church of Christ

On April 25, 2026, 37 local residents were baptized at the new parish of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker in the town of Ntui (Mbam-et-Kim Division) in the Central Deanery of Cameroon.

The deans of the Central and Western ecclesiastical districts of Cameroon, Priest Paul Atangana and Priest German Mbarga, baptized 25 people. Another 12 were received into Orthodoxy through the sacrament of Chrismation.

The priests then celebrated the Divine Liturgy, during which the newly baptized received Holy Communion for the first time.

The new members of the Church were presented with icons and prayer books.

Currently, the Saint Nicholas parish continues to hold meetings for the remaining catechumens who wish to embrace the Orthodox faith.
