On the evening of August 8, 2026, at the age of 41, Priest Constantine Rodgers Gao, a cleric of the Migori Deanery in Kenya, died in a traffic accident.

Father Constantine was born on April 4, 1986. He was baptized in infancy.
In 2012, he graduated from the Makarios Orthodox Theological Seminary in Nairobi.
In May 2010, he was ordained a deacon, and then, later that same month, a priest in the Orthodox Church of Alexandria.
In 2022, he transferred to the Russian Orthodox Church.
He founded the St. Basil the Great Children’s Educational Center in the village of Nyamilu. He ministered to the community of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa in the Kuria district.
He was married and raised a son.
His younger brother is Father Vasily Tuta, a cleric of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa. One of the photos shows Metropolitan Konstantin with Father Constantine Gao and Father Vasily Tuta.
