On the 21st of December, after suffering from a prolonged illness, Priest Ephraim Peter Kimani Ngigi, the rector of the parish of the Great Martyr George the Victory-Bearer in the city of Kikuyu in the Central Deanery of Kenya, departed unto the Lord at the age of 49.

Father Ephraim was born on the 11th of July, 1976.
He was baptized in infancy.
In 2012, he graduated from the Makarios Orthodox Theological Seminary in Nairobi. In July 2006, he was ordained to the diaconate and subsequently to the priesthood in the Alexandrian Orthodox Church.
In 2022, he was received into the Russian Orthodox Church.
He was the rector of the parish of the Great Martyr George the Victory-Bearer in the Central Deanery of Kenya.
He was married and raising four children. May our Lord grant the Heavenly Kingdom and eternal memory to the newly-departed Priest Ephraim!
