On April 19, 2026, the Second Sunday after Easter, ten local residents were baptized at the parish of the Icon of the Mother of God “Life-Giving Spring” in the Northern Deanery of Uganda.
The sacrament was performed by the parish rector, Priest John Okello, and the deanery cleric, Priest Victor Okello.
Representatives of the Luo and Acholi peoples became new members of the Church of Christ.
