In the kindergarten school at the parish of St. Basil the Great in the village of Nyamiru, Migori Deanery (Kenya), a new building with three classrooms has been constructed with the support of the Foundation for the Support of Christian culture and Heritage. The end of construction is planned to be in the near future.
On May 7, the parish rector, Priest Basil Onyisa, blessed the students for the new academic semester, which begins in Kenyan schools in late April – early May. Notebooks and other school supplies were distributed to the children.
On May 6, the kindergarten school was visited by an official from the Kenyan Ministry of Education, who conducted a seminar for the school’s teachers.
