On 29 th January 2023, the 33 rd Sunday after Pentecost, of Zacchaeus, Archimandrite Filaretos
(Kimaro) and Priest Constantine Shoki celebrated the Liturgy at the Russian Centre of Science
and Culture in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Among the worshippers was Mr Andrei Avetisyan,
Russia’s Ambassador to Tanzania.
After the divine service, the diplomat handed over an altar Gospel book, icons and altar covers
for the use of the parish.
