On November 2, a meeting was held between Bishop Euthymius of Lukhovitsy, Vicar of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa, and E. Sobolewsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The meeting was attended by Priest Dmitry Gurov, a cleric of the Egyptian Deanery of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa, and E. B. Belov, Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Bishop Euthymius informed the Ambassador about the current state of affairs in the Egyptian Deanery.
The interlocutors discussed issues of cooperation between the Embassy and the Egyptian Deanery in the area of spiritual care for Belarusian citizens residing in Egypt.
