On October 7, 2026, at the office of the North African Diocese in Cairo, the Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, Metropolitan Konstantin of Cairo and North Africa, presided over a meeting of the clergy of the Egyptian Deanery.
The meeting was attended by Bishop Euphimy of Lukhovitsy, Vicar of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa and Dean of the District, as well as the acting rector of the Parish of the Holy Myrrh-Bearing Women in Hurghada, Priest Dimitri Gurov, and the rector of the Church of All Saints Who Shone Forth in the Land of Egypt, Hieromonk Mitrofan (Soldatenko).
The meeting addressed issues concerning the activities of the Egyptian Deanery and the further development of church life in Egypt.
